Life's a Dance... or a Circle.

or both?

let's investigate:

Life's a Dance: in my planner, every weekend in the month of October is colorful with writing that is sometimes accented by bubble letters, underlining, and even arrows pointing to it. Weekends are undoubtedly fun, exhilerating, and without fail highly anticipated within my week.

Life's a Circle: my schedule these days is pretty obnoxious and predictable. monday through friday, without fail, i will: Wake up super early and want to kill myself (not really, but seriously... if that contradiction made any sense). Then, i will head straight to either the elementary school to observe (which really is good and enjoyable, just early) or my landlord's house to homeschool their 3 children, grades Kindergarden, 3rd, and 8th. Next, i head to campus for classes and to take some dumb midterms and am released at about 2-2:45, depending on the day. By this time, it seriously is ALL i can do to make it home and collapse on my bed to take a much needed-or-i'll-quit-functioning nap. Then, wake up, feel super energized and ready for the day (how i should've felt 9 hours ago). It's then time to begin studying (slash cramming) for the next huge test i have the next day. I'll stay up super late until i feel prepared for my test, then go straight to sleep.... wake up early, feel like death, get ready... and the cycle starts all over again.

So... life during the week, yes, seems like an obnoxious circle... but i'm probably only saying that because it's pre-naptime and i just got done with a midterm. Catch me around dinnertime when life is good, i'm anticipating the weekend, and i feel as though i could go defeat Goliath, and the word "obnoxious" might be replaced with a more happy and uplifting adjective.

So, here i am.... Thursday. Middle of the week. Last weekend I worked a retreat at Camp Vesper Point (home #3) and it was SO GREAT.... SUCH a wonderful, beautiful, needed refresher for sure. This weekend, i anticipate seeing one of my BEST friends from camp, Allison (Shmallison), and hang out with her and some other camp peeps in knoxville and then go to homecoming here at CN!!! :D

Life's a Dance.
And then I remember that Jesus loves me and died on the cross for me... and even my circle-ish days become a fancy, elaborate, Cinderella ball.

I love you Anna Cleland. It's refreshing to know someone else is going through the same things as me....
