WEEKEND 1: camp friends jessica and katie from kentucky came to visit me!
it was SUCH a great weekend to hang out and catch up with them and share camp memories and a bond that only working at camp together can lend you. they are so fun! we hung out at my house, with my friends, and even went to the carson-newman game! love them; they're such blessings :)WEEKEND 2: This past weekend was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time as i traveled to Auburn, AL to cheer on the good ol auburn tigers!
It was SUCH a refreshment to be able to see extended family (cousins, aunts, unles, it was a huge party!) and just sit around and eat, chat, and laugh with them. They're a big blessing in my life; they make me happy and proud to be a Cleland. I wish I could spend more time with them more often.... Jack's in MIDDLE SCHOOL now and Georgia just started KINDERGARTEN! so crazy. The Boman/Smith/Cleland (and Wagley!) clan are very near and dear to my heart :) I also loved being able to excercise being a TRUE Cleland in bleeding orange and blue this weekend and shouting WAR EAGLE with the best of 'em. It was a good game, despite the outcome.... i was just happy to be there!
me and AUBIE!!
<---
love it! :D
and this is me and my little cousin Georgia. No longer a toddler... she's growing into a young lady! We played Wii and had all kinds of fun. love family. --->
Before the game, Kristin and I were able to make our rounds and spent some time with Jonathan Franklin, a great camp friend that loves Auburn and goes to Georgia. As you can tell by his attire, he's a little confused. He bridged the gap between me and Kristin quite well!
kristin and i also ran into Emily, one of kristin's campers her first two years, and then I had her in MY cabin this past year! it was fun to run into all sorts of fun people!
Me, Krisin, and Brady at the game. It got really cold and windy, but was really worth it. Brady and I tried to act like we didn't belong with Kristin as much as possible because of her red and black and being for the bulldogs, but we love her so it was hard. :) We stayed with Cate Gilmer, another sweet camp friend, and am really sad that we didn't get any pictures taken with her.. we were all just so busy! Auburn turned out to be just so perfect!!!
THEN, after auburn, i stopped home in chattanooga (more family... mommy and daddy family...cant beat that... *sigh*) and spent the sunday night there and headed back to good ol CN this morning. what a fun weekend! i'd love to relive it again soon. war eagle. :)
