i just wanted to take a second before i headed back up to CAMP for clean-up week (weeks with campers are officially over, and now its just us staff... i'll be updating about camp later, so just hold your breath in anticipation for that..) but i wanted to just dedicate a blog to my dear friend and roommate Amanda Bartlett that just got ENGAGED this weekend!!! Amanda is one of my very closest friends at Carson-Newman that I'm blessed to live in a house with our last 2 years of college. I was so sad to find out that i didn't have my phone with me Friday night when it happened cause i was still with campers, but it was so neat to turn my phone on Saturday morning to a really fun voice mail, and a phone call from her not long after that. it was so fun to be giddy and excited together in this season of her life... i'm sure our house will be filled with lots of time spent with noses in magazines and online deep in wedding converstations... and i can't wait! they're getting married exactly a year from now... wooo! Congrats, Amanda and Andrew!
